Are there any Harry Potter fans out there? Steph and her friends are so when they took a trip to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, they needed holsters for their wands! Steph found a picture of a holster and asked if I could make it. Since I already had leather working tools, I said I'd try. Using the picture as a guide, I sketched up a design in a word processing program and then made a full size model of felt. That worked, so it was on to creating in leather. Take a look at this Fast DIY from Workshop Wednesday.

What's the ultimate picture hanging tool? It's this Bosch laser level! It's not really for hanging pictures--it's true purpose is to quickly square the layout of a room. We aren't doing any major building anytime soon, so we did a quick demo just so you can see it in action.

We're going on a Field Trip! It's no surprise that it's to The Home Depot. Today we're going to share about Ryobi Days sale. It's a promotion where you buy a select tool, this year it's a battery/charger kit, and then you get one select power tool for free. There are a dozen in the store to choose from, BUT, the deal is also online, where there are many more to choose from. As part of the ProSpective campaign, The Home Depot sent us a gift card to take advantage of the promotion and to share our experience with you.

After living in her house five years, Steph finally decided it was time to think about some kind of covering for the window in her bathroom. You can't see into it due to the high placement, but she could not control the amount of light it let in.
One of the projects we did in the garage makeover was to order a shade for the window. We were pleased with that ordering and install so we decided to order again from The Home Depot.

As part of The Home Depot ProSpective campaign this quarter, we received an eight piece DeWalt combo kit. We were impressed with the kit and felt we needed to share a closer look at the tools.
As this combo offers basic tools, it would be a great gift for someone wanting to start their tool collection or add to or upgrade what they already have to battery powered. Along with the eight tools, you get the rolling ToughSystem box, accessories like a circular saw blade and angle grinder blade, a battery charger and three batteries. Everything you need to get started! On today's show:

On Workshop Wednesday, we featured a Fast DIY project. This project came about because Steph uses her tub for storage, rather than bathing. She came up with an idea to hide the storage, but still provide access without permanent damage to the tub.
We presented another edition of "Fast DIY" this week on Workshop Wednesday. After two years out in the Florida weather, our concrete pumpkins were in need of a little refreshing. We decided to take them from 'happy' to creepy with a concrete makeover! Take a look at the little Quikrete makeover we did!
