How to Assembly Clear Shoebox Organizer from Costco

These clear shoe boxes seemed to be silly until we noticed Costco staging them with items other than shoes.

We were intrigued so we bought a set of four!

Steph immediately was flummoxed as to why the instructions had to be so difficult.

She fixes that in this video!

Can we just say that the picture on this 4-pack of shoe boxes shows six, which is just a bit confusing!

This display at Costco made us go "hmmm, maybe these boxes have potential!" And by the way, in case you don't know it, items ending in "7" are clearance. We always look for the sevens on our Costco runs.

The included instructions did NOT include a pair of the suggested white gloves. Show of hands, who actually owns a pair of these?

How to build the Costco stackable plastic shoeboxes.

First step, remove all the packaging. Leave the letter stickers in place.

Lay part A down with inside facing up. Add part B to one side and part C to the other.

Lay part D down with the inside facing up and the magnets facing out. Click the assembled A, B, and C into part D

Lay part D down with the inside facing up and the holes facing out at the bottom. Click the assembled A, B, and C into part D.

Add part E to the top making sure the magnets are facing in the same direction the holes in part D.

Lastly, add part F.

If you've done it right parts C and F will open in the same direction!

Let's look at some the things you can store. Well, shoes of course, but a single pair of shoes seems like a waste of space!

Hopefully, Step has removed the difficulty in putting together the boxes.

Tips:

If doors do not open in the same directions, you've done it wrong.
If you've done it wrong, there is no going back to fix it.
Once these boxes are constructed you can't take them apart.
