In the bloopers at the end of this video, you hear me say "super simple!" That was in response to what we learned about installing this Ring Stick Up Cam! I think we have installed all version of Ring cameras now, and this one was as quick and simple as the others.
The Ring Stick Up Cam Wired ready to be installed.
Everything is included in the box including cords for outdoor or indoor installation. We actually used the outdoor one because it was longer than the indoor one.

Product:

  • Ring Stick Up Cam Wired Indoor/Outdoor Standard Security Camera, White (Home Depot)

The Ring Stick Up Cam wired written instructions.
Just like with the other Ring products, there are written instructions as well as a step by step video to watch. We, of course, went the digital route in installing this!
Changing to the wall mount on the Ring Stick Up Cam Wired.
The first step was to change the mount for installing this on a wall.

Next, select the indoor or outdoor cord and plug it into the cam. Add the protective cover. The orange handled screwdriver is included.
Plug the camera in and set it up through the app.

Attaching the Ring Stick Up Cam Wired to the wall.
We marked where we wanted it to hang and screwed it into place. There is a built in level so you can get it correct without additional tools. Before permanently attaching it to the wall, use the app to see the feed so you're positioning it to get the view that you want.

We used the included cable management hardware to secure the cord into place.

Steph can check on in Mac the greyhound when she is not home.
The garage Ring camera is placed looking towards the garage door. This is so we can monitor the garage with the door open and not have to be in the space. We installed a second Ring Stick Up Cam Wired at Steph's house for the sole purpose of keeping an eye on Mac the greyhound when Steph is away.
