Since Mac and Tosh, the retired greyhounds, joined Steph's household, she's become well acquainted with the messes associated with pet ownership.
Read on as she shares what she likes about these three Hoover products and what she would recommend if you also deal with messes of the canine, feline, or human variety! 
What kinds of messes are we talking about here? Steph breaks it down without being graphic or gross! Different messes require a variety of powered cleaning tools. I think the captions below clearly categorizes the messes.
Oops! Potty training accident?
Steph learned about "protein spills" as a cast member at Walt Disney World. It's a nice way of saying vomit!
And, finally, those messy paw prints they track in after a rainy day walk!
The Hoover ONEPWR spotless Go is great for surface messes that you are able to clean up right away. It's battery powered so it's convenient to take where you need it.
The Hoover ONEPWR is lightweight and is great for cleaning up small spills.
The Hoover cleans well, but more importantly the individual parts are easily cleaned to keep the machine odor free and ready for the next use.
When Steph got Tosh, the second greyhound, she needed a larger carpet cleaner as Tosh had a lot of bathroom issues. She settled on the Hoover PowerDash Pet Compact Carpet Cleaner.
Eewww, with the help of a black light, you can see the pee problems on the carpet!
Although this worked well on the carpet stains, Steph found it very difficult to clean the machine. The parts come off, but for example, the only way to clean that tank above is through the hole. You really can't get it clean enough to prevent odors.
Because Tosh continued to have accidents Steph needed a better solution to the carpet cleaning issue. She found this Hoover Smartwash Automatic Carpet Cleaner Machine to try.
It's more expensive than the Hoover PowerDash Pet Compact Carpet Cleaner, but it is way easier to clean the parts!
All the parts come off easily so they can be cleaned throughly so there are no odors lingering in the machine.
It has the same heat/drying technology as the less expensive machine, but it does have a dedicated cleaner tank. The cleaning liquid mixes with the water as you use it so there is no waste.
This little pup is pretty mess-free, but her sister keeps Hoover in business!
Bottom line, if you're a pet parent you'll want to invest in a spot cleaner as well as a full size carpet cleaner. Choose something that you can thoroughly clean otherwise it will start to smell.
