Sheets lock up loose dyes found in the wash water .
Prevent dyes from running or bleeding onto other clothes .
Helps save you time by reducing the need for sorting
Helps save you money by reducing the need for half-size loads
What is it:
SHOUT ColorCatcher. It’s a white sheet you toss in the wash.
What it's for:
It removes excess color in the wash water so it doesn’t deposit back onto the clothes. So you can safely mix colors (within reason) without fear of colors running.
Where they can be purchased:
We get ours at Target, but they are available pretty much everywhere. A box of 24 runs about $4. They do sometimes go on sale, so stock up when they do.
Vicki's take on the product: The Color Catcher Sheets totally changed how I do laundry. I used to be a very meticulous sorter of clothing which meant lots of small loads & lots of time doing laundry. Now I usually only sort into a few groupings & always throw in a color catcher sheet or two (if it’s an especially mixed load.)
The sheets start out white. You can see how much color they collect.
