Steph found the perfect pieces of wood in her scrap pile.

We walked around the big box store and found slotted angle iron which was perfect to attach the wood to the wall.

Here are the materials we used:
- Wood
- Level/ Ruler
- Slotted angle iron
- 2 screws for studs and washers
- 4 wood screws and washers
- 3 screwdrivers
- Magnetic stud finder
- A wood boring bit
- 1/8" drill bit

We leveled the wood on the wall and marked its placement with a pencil. We found and marked two studs using the magnetic stud finder.

We marked where to drill the pilot holes.

The screws that attach the angle iron to the wall will stick out a bit. In order for the back of the wood to lay flush with the angle iron, we needed to create an indentation in the wood. We used a wood boring drill bit.
