I have a lot of trees in my yard so that means I have a lot of fallen leaves! I have tried all kinds of tools to make leaf collection easier, but nothing has worked as well as the lawn and leaf chute I picked up at Home Depot. Watch the video above to see it in action!

First I used the leaf blower to gather the leaves.

Then I used a rake to make piles.

Now it's time to bag the leaves. I opened up a plastic lawn bag and put the leaf and lawn chute inside. I opened it up (instructions on the front) and brought the bag up.

I found that a binder clip works great to keep the bag in place.

I used leaf scoops to pile the leaves in the bag.

When the bag was full, I removed the binder clip and took the lawn and leaf chute out.
I have been using this product for a few weeks now and it works great! At first I thought it was a little flimsy but I have found it holds up nicely and works really well.

You have an absolutely gorgeous garden and you don't compost?! It is so easy and then you don't need to bag leaves. Just pile in a corner and let Mother Nature turn them into the best smelling black gold. Please try it.

Hi Connie, I do use leaves for compost. I have a ton of trees in my yard so I have an excess at times and that's when I bag some of them. Also, this video was shot right after a hurricane we had in Tallahassee so I had a lot of leaves and twigs that needed to be removed. But yes, leaves are great for compost- thanks for sharing!
