How to Install a Plastic Garage Pegboard

Join us as we install plastic pegboard in Steph's garage in this video.
Materials
  • (5) Everbilt 16x16 plastic pegboards (Home Depot)
  • Assorted peg hooks (Home Depot)
  • Rubbermaid FastTrack hardware packs (we have used these in many projects and they work really well for us- but any wood/drywall screws and anchors should work) (Home Depot)

Tools
  • Magnetic stud finder (Home Depot)
  • Pencil
  • Level
  • Screw driver/ drill bits

Steps
  • We started by finding a stud, leveling our first board and marking where the screws will go. We added anchors where there were no studs and attached the board in place.
  • We continued this process. The pegboards have grooves on each side to fit them together.
  • With the pegboard in place, we added peg hooks and loaded them up with tools.

Please note: We are not sponsored by any of the companies/products that we used. These products were picked and bought by us.

FYI: We are not professionals, and we don’t claim to be. This is what we found worked for our project. Yours may need a little different approach. Safety first!

I have these, still in the package, from three years ago because I have been afraid to try and hang them. They have moved from old house to new house and hang out on my work bench. THIS IS AWESOME! Thanks for the kick in the bootie to get these hung this weekend. I love your videos!
