Take a tour inside Steph's rustic guest bathroom.

I was a Girl Scout growing up (now a lifetime Girl Scout) and each member of our troop had a cute nickname. Mine was Outhouse Sam. Basically, I was the only girl that would use the outhouse by the camp site on one of our trips, and one of the dad's kept calling me Sam, so I became Outhouse Sam!

When I bought my own house I was so excited to have the freedom to theme all the rooms. I thought 'Outhouse' was just too perfect for my guest bathroom!

What Mom and I did:

Removed wallpaper and painted the walls a light grey (Mom is a pro at wallpaper removal!)
Painted vanity and replaced hardware
Replaced light fixture (before it was the standard builder's grade raceway bathroom lights)
DIY live edge wood shelf for towels (used fence pickets and steel brackets)
DIY 'Outhouse' sign for door (used a woodburn tool)
DIY hooks and storage (fence pickets, mason jars, worm clamp, and hooks)
Ladies bathroom sign (vintage from a friend of mine- the light inside didn't work anymore so I used a new battery powered LED)

My friends and I called ourselves "The 10 Ladies" in high school

Vinyl wood plank I have throughout my whole house (besides the master and guest room that have carpet)

My Girl Scout troop and all our fun names :)
