Right after The Home Depot's gift center went up, we got a tour from our local store manager. We enjoyed seeing all the tools and accessories for the holiday season, and also really enjoyed getting to spend time with the manager. He showed us around the gift center, opened a couple of products for us to test out and shared a little history about The Home Depot and his journey with the company. It was obvious he cares about the company and most especially, his Home Depot colleagues!
When you head into your local Home Depot you'll find the gift center near the front entrance--it's not hard to spot. There you will find tons of tool deals and accessories. Check out the front aisles as you'll find some fun stuff there as well.
The highlight of the gift center are the tool "buy one, get one" deals offered up by five different tool companies. Basically, buy a combo kit, get 1-2 select tools of your choice for free!
You can also pick up gift cards for stocking stuffers or things like flashlights and drill bits that also make great stocking stuffers. Take a look at the video to see our choices for great stocking stuffers as well as an experience gift you can get for that special child in your life! Top 10 Stocking Stuffers
The Home Depot can even be a place to find a gift for your favorite kid! Experience gifts that gives them a fun activity with their favorite adult can be found monthly through the free Kids Workshop. Our idea for the gift is to buy a gift card holder, put in a note explaining that 'Oma' will be taking him to the kids workshop throughout the year along with a gift card so he can buy a lollipop after every workshop!
There are so many fun things in the Gift Center this. year. This is really one of the best times of the year to find great deals on tools and accessories. Don't wait too long to visit as supplies are limited. If you see something you want, grab it as it may not be there on the next visit. (I saw some Pyrex bowls there last week and forgot to pick one up. I have a feeling they will be gone the next time I visit!)
