In this video we setup an indoor HD antenna to watch free-to-air network channels. No cable subscription needed. Check out dtv.gov/maps to see what channels you can get in your area.
Materials:
  • HD Antenna
  • (2) 3M Command Strips (came with antenna)
  • Cord Cover
  • HD TV
  • Home (not needed for the project but we love Ellen's new book!)

Most shows I want to watch I can find online, but there is one show I have watch everyday since it premiered. The Ellen DeGeneres Show! I started looking into ways to watch the show without having to pay monthly for cable TV. An HD antenna was the perfect solution.

The antenna comes with 3M command strips to connect the antenna to the wall. The antenna is so light that they keep a strong hold.

Position the antenna high and in-line of sight of a window. You might have to try different positions to get the best signal in your home.

Connect the antenna to your TV. Choose antenna- air on your TV menu and run a channel scan.

It worked. Ellen comes in clear on my TV!

I bought a cable cover that I painted the wall color, so the antenna cable is camouflaged a little bit.

End Blooper: BTW the only reason the antenna fell was because Steph used old 3M command strips. When she put new ones on it stayed up great.
