52 in. Adjustable Height Work Table with 2-Drawers in White in Steph's office.
First up, a Beyond the Workshop segment featuring the Husky 52 in. Adjustable Height Work Table with 2-Drawers in White! This was supposed to live in my garage, but after we put it together, we both were like, "that needs to go in the office! It's too pretty for a garage!" So, off it went to replace the current Husky table in Steph's office.
52 in. Adjustable Height Work Table with 2-Drawers in White come with lockable casters.
This is our fifth Husky adjustable height worktable. The tables come with stationary feet but also include these casters. We use the casters as we need the functionality of being able to move things around the garage as well as in Steph's office.
You can lock the casters on the Husky work table.
The casters lock which is handy. We don't need them to lock in the office, but we use this feature all the time in the garage. I often roll the tables out onto my driveway, which slopes, so the locking feature keeps the table from rolling downhill!
You can use the Husky 52 in. Adjustable Height Work Table with 2-Drawers as a standing desk.
The adjustable height means we can use this table as a standing desk as well as lowering it to be seated. The drawers hide away a lot of unsightly office stuff. If you happen to find one already assembled at the Home Depot, buy it! The assembly is not difficult though. FYI: The assembled table easily fit into my Honda CR-V once the seats were lowered.

How to make a collar bandana for a dog.
Is there anything cuter than a dog in a bandana?! I've been busy making all colors and patterns of bandanas for Mac, the shopdog! These fit onto a collar rather than being tied into place. Download the pattern file to get started.
Be sure to press down this edge prior to sewing the DIY bandana.
Before stitching the bandana, take time to press down 1/2" on one edge of the piece. This is where you'll turn the sewn piece right side out.
Stitch the dog collar bandana using a 1/2 seam allowance.
Pin your piece right side to right side. Start stitching at the top edge opposite the pressed edge. Use a 1/2" seam allowance. Stop stitching where you pressed down the seam allowance. This point is 2 1/2" from the folded top edge.
The secret to a good looking bandana is to press the piece well as you sew.
Before turning, clip the corners to remove some of the seam allowance. Turn the piece to the right side. Use a wood chopstick to gently push out the corners. You'll notice the seam allowance for the opening will automatically now be neatly tucked into the side. (That's why you press this seam allowance into place before sewing.) Press with right side up. Topstitch all-around the piece using about a 1/4" seam allowance. (I used the edge of the pressure foot as my guide.)
Fold the top down 2 1/2
Lastly, turn the piece so the wrong side is facing up. Fold the top down 2 1/2" inches. and topstitch into place.
This scarf hanging makes a great place to store all Mac's bandana!
This scarf hanging makes a great place to store all Mac's bandanas! The three on the left are made from bandanas, the two on the right are from fat quarters.

Hoover Cordless Vacuum

ONEPWR BLADE+ CORDLESS VACUUM - KIT
In our "Favorite Things" segment, we showed the new Hoover ONEPWR BLADE+ CORDLESS VACUUM. It's perfect for a messy sewist, like me, and for dog owners!
ONEPWR BLADE+ CORDLESS VACUUM - KIT is a great alternative to corded upright vacuums.
I was introduced to this cordless vac this summer at a conference. Since then, my heavy, corded upright vacuum died. I thought this would be a good alternative so I bought it Black Friday weekend from the Hoover website. At the time, I got a code for 10% for signing up for their newsletter. I now get notification of upcoming offers.
ONEPWR BLADE+ CORDLESS VACUUM empties easily.
I am amazed at how well this picks up dirt! I think what really surprised me is all the really fine dirt it picks up. It has a carpet setting which works well on a rug in my house that has been particularly difficult to clean as it has high and low areas in the design. This is designed to hang from its included rack, but I just hang it from my Wall Control panel. I am enjoying the convenience of just being able to grab this from the wall to be able to clean up messy areas quickly. I'm not going back to corded vacuum cleaners!
This was such a fun show to film as all the segments related to each other! You'd think that was planned but NOT! Actually, the day we filmed the weather was so bad. We had not even intended to film at Steph's house. But it all worked out. There's also a bonus segment in the video featuring Mac!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year--wow, I remember when 2020 seemed so far away!

You only give measurements for one size of this Bandana. Could you please update this video or pattern to include different sizes for smaller & larger dogs?
I have a friend with a 110 lbs. puppy that will eventually weigh 150 lbs.

I enjoyed this tutorial. Thank you for providing it. I was wondering if you have the measurements for the bandana. I did download the pattern and will try it. I would also love any other measurements or suggestions for other bandanas for dogs of different sizes- if you have them. Thank you!
