We've been using Wet & Forget cleaning products for around seven years now. We continue to use them because they work!

Wet & Forget products are for those who do no like the clean. But they are not for anyone who wants an instant clean, that's not going to happen.

But if cleaning is not your thing, but you have patience, then Wet & Forget is for you.

In this post we share our two "go-to" outdoor cleaning products.

Product:

  • Wet & Forget Outdoor Ready to Use (Amazon)

  • Wet & Forget Outdoor Xtreme Reach Hose End (Amazon)

  • Wet & Forget Outdoor Xtreme Reach Hose End Refill (Amazon)

Clean indoors and out with Wet and Forget cleaners.
As you can see, there are products in the Wet & Forget family to clean inside and out.
Wet and Forget outdoor in spray and hose in form.
Let's talk about these two. They are both outdoor cleaners, but in different packaging. Neither of these require mixing or the addition of a garden sprayer.
Wet & Forget ready to use outdoor cleaner.
First up is the very handy ready to use version with a built in sprayer. It's great for smaller jobs or when you need a lot of precision.
How to use the Wet and Forget ready to use spray handle.
There are three settings on the sprayer: off, narrow spray, and wide spray. Choose the spray pattern that best works for you.
Using the Ready to Use Wet and Forget outdoor spray.
It's great on areas where you don't want a lot of overspray. You have a lot of control with the Ready to Use spray.

After two rains, the green algae is gone. With a few more rains, we should see even more cleaning. It works over time, so patience is the key. But it is nice to get rid of the green quickly!

Spraying the gutter downspout with wet and forget.
Another perfect use for the ready to use spray. Steph was able to spray down the downspout without getting spray into the screen porch.
The downspout is clean after two rains.
And clean! Now we can do some long overdue painting of the downspout.
Wet and forget works on concrete splash guards that sit at the base of a downspout.
This concrete splashguard was looking a little green as well.
Use wet and forget on many things outdoors including asphalt shingles and concrete.
It's not perfect, but it is on the way to clean.

Next is the Hose-End version. You securely add a garden hose, turn on the water, and you're in business.

Use the jet tip to reach high up on the side off the house.
The Hose-End version is especially effective on siding. The fan tip is great for the lower half and the jet tip reaches all the way to the tippy top of the siding.
As a precaution when using the Wet and Forget hose end, be sure to wet down your plants before and after that may come in contact with the product.
Before applying, be sure to wet down your plants before and after to keep them from damage.
Use ON to dispense product with Wet and Forget Hose End.
Become familiar with the settings on the Hose-End. There's OFF, a few water only settings, and ON which is when the product is dispensed.

In the fall of 2023, there was a voluntary recall of the Hose-End nozzles. The nozzles have now been redesigned with added safety features. This circle on the top tells you this is one of the new nozzles.
Where do you get your Wet & Forget products? For the Hose-End version, we look for it seasonally at Costco. It's a good buy and even better when it is on sale.

The best advantage of these two products is there is no mixing. We used to get the concentrate which DID require mixing as well as garden sprayer. It was a lot more hassle and we were less likely to do the cleaning because of the extra steps needed.

There's no excuse anymore as it's easy to grab them and get to work.

Please note: This is not a sponsored post. Wet and Forget did send us some product that we shared in this project.
