That's so cool. I love it when my young grandchildren help Steph and I. I hope this is the start of a lifelong love for DIY. ~Vicki

Grandmother taught me to crochet at 7-8. Began sewing later. Smocking and French Handsewing. Taught classes on how to make these. My grand daughter wears the clothes I made for her mother and her aunt. I’m a DYI yard work person and minor home repair now that I am a widow.

I haven't done it since Steph was a baby, but I loved smocking and French Handsewing! I made a lot of her clothes and even smocked some for my son. ~Vicki

As your mom, my name is Vicki too, come from a family of 8, 6 kids, two sets of twins in the Boston area I remember taking cooking and sewing in jr. high school 12/13yrs old and I still sew as well as enjoying many many more DYI ing wood crafting, home repair, knitting, jewelry making, and recently card making. I just realized I do all this because my dad was extremely handy and a Boy Scout leader for over 30 years. I love keeping busy and the wonderful feeling of accomplishment. So 1952 - 11 = 56 years DIYing and I love it, that’s why I watch your inspiring show.

You beat my 55 years! I'm happy to meet another Vicki who spells it the correct way! We're a third generation Boy Scout family. My husband was a Scoutmaster and I was the leader for Steph's Girl Scout troop. Awwww, thanks so much for watching. ~Vicki
