As part of the Home Depot ProSpective campaign we got jackets! Not just any jackets, but heated jackets that run on batteries.

We thought we'd have a little fun with this "tool" hence the "fashion show!" We felt just a little self-conscious walking the sidewalk runway outside my house! But it was super fun so we had to do it.

Enjoy!
Ridgid heated jacket.
These Ridgid heated jackets work on the same 18-volt system as their power tools. It comes with an adapter that can be clipped onto a belt or the whole thing fits into a special pocket.

Tools:

  • RIDGID Men's Small Black 18-Volt Lithium-Ion Cordless Heated Jacket with (1) 1.5 Ah Battery and Charger (Home Depot)

Battery powered Ridgid heated jacket.
The power button is located on the left near the collar. You push and hold it until it turns red. It has a couple of temperature settings although I pretty much keep it on high! I'm very cold natured!
Charge your phone on the go with this Ridgid heated jacket.
The adapter also has a USB port so you can charge your phone on the go. The designer of this jacket has thoughtfully added a pathway from the battery for the cord so it stays in place.
It gets cold in Florida!
Yes, this picture is staged but we've for real worn it on several occasions already. It's especially handy when out in the cold and to walk the dog. It may not snow in Florida, but we do have cold days which makes working in the garage very uncomfortable. These jackets will extend the amount of time we can work in the garage this winter.
