One of the things we learned through our recent partnership with the Sunjoy Company was becoming aware of all the replacement parts they offer.

We have a Hampton Bay grill gazebo that we got at Home Depot a few years ago. We discovered that many of the gazebos on the market today are actually made by Sunjoy and sold under various brands. But! Even if your gazebo is not branded Sunjoy, replacement canopy parts may be available.

Replacing the canopy parts certainly extends the life of your gazebo.

Product:

  • Hampton Bay Heathermoore Outdoor Patio 8 ft. x 5 ft. Grill Gazebo (Home Depot)

  • Sunjoy Sesame Replacement Canopy For Heathermoore Grill Gazebo (5X8 Ft) A103000300 Sold At Home Depot (Sunjoy)

This is our Hampton Bay Home Depot gazebo.
This is our Hampton Bay Home Depot gazebo. We've enjoyed it for the last couple of years, but the canopy was starting to show a lot of sun damage. It is Florida after all!
Assembling the Hampton Bay, Home Depot, fabric topped gazebo.
This is where we originally placed the gazebo. The idea was to provide a dry space for the dogs to do their business when it rained. The greyhounds never took to the idea so we then staged it with chairs for the humans!
Here's a look at the Home Depot soft top gazebo after two years in the Florida sun.
Here's a close-up of the two-year old canopy. There is lots of sun damage along with dirt and a few cuts from falling limbs.
Here's a damage spot caused by falling tree debris.
That's not supposed to be there! When you have a yard full of trees, this is not unexpected!
The body of the gazebo is in fantastic shape.

Search the sunjoy website using the model number of your gazebo to find replacement parts.
It's important when you buy your gazebo, you write down the model number so you can refer to it later. You need to search the model number of your gazebo on the Sunjoy website to see if replacement parts are available
The Sunjoy replacement canopy came packed well with clear instructions.
This is how the replacement canopy arrived.
A simple instruction guide is included with the replacement gazebo soft top canopy.

The first step is to remove the old canopy.

The four support bars have to be removed to take off the old large canopy as well as to put the new one on.
The large replacement canopy is put into place, but the corners are kept loose until the top canopy is in place.

Adding the top canopy to the Sunjoy made Hampton Bay branded gazebo.
The Sunjoy Hampton Bay for Home Depot all finished with the new canopy.
All finished and looking brand new! It's a lot less expensive than replacing the entire gazebo.
We were certainly happy to learn about the replacement parts that are offered on the Sunjoy website. You certainly can get continued use by replacing the soft-top especially if the frame is still in great condition.

Do you have a soft-top gazebo that is looking a little worn?
