Learn about the ryobi drywall screw gun and some of the features! #review #tool #homedepot #thdprospective
One of our favorite things about being part of The Home Depot ProSpective campaign (#THDProSpective) is receiving tools that we would never have thought to check out!
When we saw the Ryobi Brushless Drywall Screw Gun on our tool list, we were excited to try it out-- especially since we were about to build a wall! But, if you checked out our wall build, you noticed we decided to not drywall it!

We still wanted to try out this tool, so we used a little drywall demo wall we made for a live presentation we did a year ago.

Materials:

  • Ryobi 18-Volt ONE+ Brushless Drywall Screw Gun (Home Depot)

  • Drywall Screws (Home Depot)

  • 2 ft. x 2 ft. x 1/2 in. Drywall Patching Panel (Home Depot)

This tool has two options for using it: 1) Pull and hold the trigger.

2) Or, pull the trigger and lock it in place.
Screw going into drywall
Put a screw in place...

...and the tool drives it in with ease!
Screw in drywall
As you can see, this screw did not go in deep enough. Not a problem...
Ryobi Brushless Drywall Screw Gun nosepiece
...the depth the tool drives the screw can be adjusted on the nosepiece. Once I had it dialed in for my project, it drove the screws in perfectly every time.

Perfect! After trying out this tool, we see it as a "must-have" for any major drywall project. The best part is how fast it is! Once the nosepiece is dialed in, the screws get placed perfectly every time!

Have you done any drywall work at your house? Did you use a drywall screw gun or something else? Let us know in the comments below!
