Part three in the four-part Home Reserve DIY Sofa series: Putting it all together!

Once the five chairs and two ottomans were assembled, it was time to bring them in the house to connect them all together.

This part could not have been easier! The hardest part was working around the greyhounds!

As easy as this is to assemble its just as easy to take apart to rearrange or move, which we did a few weeks later!

Home Reserve Sectional:

  • (4) Tux Armless in Archetype Quartz (link)

  • Tux Left in Archetype Quartz (link)

  • Tux Right in Archetype Quartz (link)

  • (2) Standard Ottoman in Archetype Anchor (link)

  • Corner Ottoman in Archetype Anchor (link)

  • (2) Square Pillows in Archetype Anchor (link)

This 60 pound greyhound made it difficult to move the old couch so we could install the new Home Reserve couch.
So the hardest part was getting this greyhound to move so we could take the old couch outside! Are there any other dog owners that can relate?!
Putting the first two pieces of the Home Reserve couch into place.
We gave up trying to move the grey so we worked on the first part of the sectional instead.
Attaching the Home Reserve corner ottoman to the armless chairs.
All of the pieces connect to the others with two connector bolts which are secured with washers and wing nuts. For the ottoman, the bolts are threaded through the side and then a small slit is made in the fabric to allow the bolt to go through.
All the Home Reserve pieces have storage in the seats, but the corner ottoman has the most spacious space.
With the bottom in place, this area is now ready for storage!
This is a closeup of one of the Home Reserve sofa connector bolts.
This is what those connector bolts look like.
Attaching an armless to the other side of the corner ottoman footstool.
Look! They greyhound finally moved so we could take out the old couch and start on the second part of the sectional!
All these sectional pieces are now in place. All that's left is to add the cushions!

Enjoying a job well done!
All done!
Home Reserve also sells pillows in the matching washable, durable fabric.
We also bought matching pillows with the same washable, durable fabric.
All the Home Reserve pieces have storage under the seats.
So. Much. Storage! Can your sofa do that?
The 8x10 rug by Ruggable goes well with the new Home Reserve sofa.
Notice anything? There is an extra seat and ottoman! After living with the sofa for a couple of days, we decided we needed one more seat and ottoman. Now it's perfect! By the way, that corner ottoman is the same color as the others. The light coming through the window makes it look lighter in this picture. The rug is by Ruggable and is 8x10 if you're wondering. It's very dog friendly.

We did move the sofa a few weeks later to adjust the rug to where you see it today. We simply took out the connector bolts from two sections and were easily able to move it.

The sofa is working out well and we are especially glad we decided to get the two extra pieces. There's plenty of room now.
