An on-going theme in our #garagemakeover is the use of Husky products. We have many of their tools and love their "lifetime" guarantee. In the makeover we needed some things to help manage our storage needs as well as work needs. Husky came to the rescue with three garage "must-have" products.

Take a look at three of our favorite products in our new garage work space.
Husky 62
We saw these adjustable height work tables at a Home Depot event and knew they'd be a perfect addition to the garage. We specifically got three so that we would have the ability to cut a full size sheet of wood on the tables. They are on wheels which makes them highly movable and the adjustable height makes them perfect for sitting or standing.

Product:

  • Husky 62 in. Adjustable Height Work Table (Home Depot)

  • Husky 27 in. 5-Drawer Roller Cabinet Tool Chest in Textured Black (Home Depot)

  • Husky 26 in. 5-Drawer Top Chest in Textured Black (Home Depot)

  • Husky 90 in. H x 90 in. W x 24 in. D 5 Shelf Welded Steel Shelving Unit with Wire Deck in Black (Home Depot)

Adding the casters to the Husky adjustable heigh work tables.
We unboxed the individual tables as we took them out of the car, as that was the easiest way for the two of us to manage them. Steph laid out all the parts and assembled them by herself. They come with feet attached but can be swapped out for the included casters.

When they are put together, they are a perfect size for cutting large sheets fo wood.

We wanted a heavy duty shelving system on this back wall in the garage. We chose this one by Husky which reaches nearly to the ceiling. Steph laid out all the parts, and we started the assembly process.

Putting it together was like assembling a big puzzle. The instructions were very clear and easy to follow. Steph did have a little help with this build though!
Finishing up the Husky 90 in. H x 90 in. W x 24 in. D 5 Shelf Welded Steel Shelving Unit with Wire Deck in Bla
It was all hands on deck to finish the storage shelves. The last step was to add the wire shelving shelves. Even nephew, Tyler, was helping!
We picked up the Husky tool chest from customer service.
The last storage item for tools was this small Husky two section tool chest. We couldn't find it in the store, so we ordered it online. It was ready later that afternoon to pick up from the front of the store. Store pickup is a really convenient way to shop. They even loaded the tool chest into the car for us.

Those bins on the shelves are also from The Home Depot. We put a picture of the contents of each bin on the outside of the boxes. If you're wondering, those are kid's puzzle pieces with magnets glued on the backside on the drawers of the tool chest. We love the fun, whimsical look!

This table pretty much stays in this location while the other two are moved frequently. I especially like the ability to roll the tables out of the garage when I want to sand something. It keeps all that sawdust out of the garage. Once done, I simply roll it back in. That little cabinet is a "trash" find that I got in my car just before the rain!

The shelving unit, as well as the three work tables, were always part of the plan, but the tool chest was a late addition. Our original plan had a tool chest, but where we wanted to use it was unusable due to extreme unevenness in the concrete garage floor in that area.

We thought the Wall Control wall and some file cabinet storage would be enough for all the tool storage, but as time went on, we realize we really needed a dedicated tool storage box. We researched many options, but this Husky Tool Chest was the best fit for the space. Having used it for a while now, we are very happy with our choice.
