Take a look at some of the pet projects we've done over the years. 1. DIY Dog Leash Drop ZonesHere's a couple of ways to stash away all the supplies you need for your pet, especially if that pet is a dog who likes to go on walks! The first features storage for both human and pet and the second is a convenient front door wall hung Wall Control pegboard unit for leashes, keys, sunglasses and more. This one gets a lot of use! Blog Post 2. Raised Dog Food StorageThis one is such a back saver! Getting 40 pounds of food off the floor and stored at a comfortable height was a much needed DIY. Blog Post 3. Dog Toy StorageTwo DIY projects for storing all those dog toys. The first used a couple of wood rounds and parts of an old baby crib. It was great but we needed more space for toys. The newest build puts those toys at greyhound level and gets them easily stored away when not in play. Blog Post 4. Cat CondoOur favorite kitty got her own kitty condo at the request of her tiny humans! This was a fun build and used all "found" material. One of the best features is the on-board storage for her cat toys. Blog Post 5. Cat Scratching PostAnd that same kitty also got this extremely easy to build cat scratching post when she came to temporarily live with Steph. It uses a wood round, PVC, and rope. Blog Post 6. Temporary Dog FenceThis one is great for renters or for yards like Stephs where a tradition fence can't be built. We've repaired it a few times over the years due to wild animals chewing through it, but all in all, it's been a great addition to the yard and does a great job keeping the dog in the yard. Blog Post 7. Elevated Dog BowlAlthough elevated water and food bowls are not indicated for all breeds of dogs, they are for greyhounds. This upcycle feeding station used an old table and the second uses a Home Depot bucket. We use the bucket in the garage for when the shop dog is helping us! Blog Post 8. Two Dog Elevated Food BowlBack when Steph got her second greyhound, we needed to build a larger feeding station. This one uses standard lumber and a metal pipe. Blog Post 9. Magnetic Screen Door for PetsYes, this is one of those "as seen on TV" products, but it does work! The dogs easily learned how to go through and when they do, the sides automatically close up due to the magnets keeping out bugs and the occasional bird that flies onto the porch! Blog Post 10. Storage Dog BandanasThis is such a clever way to store dog bandanas. With this design you can keep adding bandanas because you can keep adding levels to the stand. Pretty cool. Blog Post
